Cabrini Connections is a grassroots non-profit organization founded to address the large number of children who live in educationally disadvantaged environments and thus fail to obtain the basic skills and experiences necessary to compete for employment in the global economy of the 21st century. The organization was founded on the theory that comprehensive volunteer-based tutoring, mentoring, and school to work programs make a significant difference, encouraging young people to finish high school and enter the work force.

In the spirit of teamwork and achievement on display during the NCAA Championship Basketball Tournamet, commonly known as 'March Madness', Cabrini Connections has begun 'Cabrini Madness'. Cabrini Madness is a fundraising tournament modeled on the basketball tournament. Teams compete throughout March raising funds for Cabrini Connections. The team that has raised the most funds at tournament end will enjoy dinner at a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant in Chicago, an especially fantastic opportunity for student team members.

The LeBrons team will be hosting a number of events for the tournament. Please join us for afterwork cocktails on March 5th at Market Bar(1113 W. Randolph) from 6-9pm. A $15 donation will include a free drink and appetizers. Please check this site for other event updates in the near future.
