His name is Soco. I have worked at the Animal Shelter for 9 years dedicating my whole being to save the animals at the shelter and to make a difference in there stay here.
I adopted Soco two years ago from the Shelter and I am now faced with the possibility of having to euthanize my baby who is my whole life. If this happens I probably will not be able to work here anymore, knowing that I couldn't save my own. What I'm asking is that Soco needs surgery to repair his ACL, now in both legs. I new I was faced with the one leg and then yesterday he pulled the other. I took him back to the vet and they have him on heavy pain and inflammatory medicine. I walk him with support of a towel under his waist. The doctors said we need to do the surgery on one asap. The cost is 3000.00 for one leg. The result of this surgery is 100% and will be walking just fine in two days. I don't have this kind of money. Can you help Soco out?
The vet who will be doing the surgery is locate in Durham,NC. His name is Dr Spodnick and his number is 919 233-4911. My Doctor is Dr John Bianco and his number is 919 471-4103 at Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital.
I Pray to God for help every day. My dog is my life and I can't bear the thought of putting him down over money.

I was faced with a similar situation with one of my cats. I paid the $3,000 for his surgery and he lived a happy additional six years after surgery. I recently lost Joey to cancer, so I can truly appreciate your situation. I wish you and Soco all the best! I will pass this information on and do what I can to help as much as we can.

Good Luck to you! My little Dauchsund Molly hurt her back 6 weeks ago and if she needed surgery(which thank goodness she did not)it would have been around $3000, as well. I would not have been able to have paid for this!
