Please help my one year old nephew, Logan who was just diagnosed with JMML, a rare for of childhood leukemia.

My nephew, Logan was diagnosed this year with a rare form of leukemia, known as Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (jmml). He just celebrated his first birthday this December so as you can imagine this is a shock to my whole family.
The treatment for Logan's disease consists of rounds of chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant. During the preliminary steps to get started with this treatment my sister found out that her insurance not only would not cover the expenses to find a donor but later on discovered they would not cover the transplant at all.
So that is why I am trying everything I can to raise money for them. To help with the expensives they will incur during Logan's extensive treatment. He is so special to us. Any contribution, support, and prayers you all can give will be very appreciated.

Update 1/25/10
Just want to update everyone following Logan's progress. Great news, my sister appealed the denial of coverage for Logan and they will now pay for the majority of his treatment which is so great. However there will still be so many expensives to occur between now and the next 5 years until Logan is in remission.
As for his treatment my brother and sister go tomorrow to have a consultation with their doctor to sit down and discuss all details before treatment starts. They have found 3 cord blood matches for Logan, which is amazing and I believe tomorrow they will discuss which match they are using etc.. Treatment is looking to begin around mid to end of February and he will have several preliminary tests done between now and then. Again thanks to everyone who has donated and I will update the site periodically. God bless all of you and thank you so much again!!!

*Update 4/22/10*
Logan was admitted into MCV to start his treatment yesterday. He is settled in his room which was decorated really nicely thanks to Conner's Heroes, which is also a great site to check out for donating to childhood cancer, the link to the site is www.connorsheroes.org. He should start his first round of chemo anytime this morning. So far he is scheduled to have his bone marrow transplant April 30th and his donor is a 10 out of 10 match which is awesome. Please everyone who reads this keep him in your prayers. He is an amazing little boy, who needs everyone's strength right now. I will continure to update as his treatment progresses.
