After the earthquake in Haiti, everyone is doing everything they can to support those in need and aid in the disaster relief efforts.
We, the City Year team at Neighborhood House Charter School, have decided to all take part in a 5k through the Boys and Girls Club on March 14th, 2010, and are looking for sponsors to donate whatever they can for each mile we finish. Any type of donation, small or large, will make a tremendous difference in this crisis. All of the money we raise will be donated to the American Red Cross International Response Fund to provide immediate relief and long-term support as volunteers do their best to support those harmed by the earthquake.
