MN Bully Lovers is a Twin Cities organization dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership and combating existing breed stereotypes. We will be hosting our first annual All-American Dog Fest on Sunday, October 25th in honor of National Pit Bull Awareness Day. We see this as our opportunity to bring together the Twin Cities dog community to celebrate all breeds of dogs while highlighting positive traits of the American Pit Bull Terrier.
With all of the recent press on the nearly 400 pit bulls seized during a multi-state dog fight bust and the controversy over Michael Vick's return to the NFL, we feel it's more important than ever to showcase that pit bulls can be a positive addition to the community.
All-American Dog Fest will be held on Sunday, October 25th from 12-5pm at the West St Paul Armory on Robert Street. Three stages of guest speakers, dog demonstrations, contests, and family-friendly activities are all part of this free event.
We need your help to make this event a success! Our goal for this year is equal representation of all breeds - specifically, getting responsible pit bull owners out there in the public eye so people can see that good owners and well-mannered pit bulls are not a myth. To accomplish this, well-behaved dogs of all breeds will be encouraged to attend with their owners.
How can you help? If you support our breed of choice, please consider making a donation to help fund All-American Dog Fest. Whether you contribute $5, $50, or $500, please know that your support is greatly appreciated. Every dollar helps fund our National Pit Bull Awareness Day event.
